I've got my eye on up-and-coming actor Peter Sarsgaard. I first noticed him in Kinsey, when I did a double take and said something like, "whoa, that guy looks like a young Kiefer Sutherland!" Which he does. Then, the other day I noticed him in a preview for Flightplan when I did another double take and said something like, "Kiefer Sutherland is in Flightplan??" Only to look it up and find that it was dear Peter.
So, check it out, I think he's going to do well in Hollywood, he's already got some nice films under his belt, such as:
Dead Man Walking
Man in the Iron Mask
Boys Don't Cry
The Cell (one of my personal faves)
Garden State
Kinsey
The Skeleton Key
Flightplan
Jarhead
Except for the last two (which I plan on seeing in the near future) I've seen all of those movies. How is it possible that I haven't noticed this hottie until recently? Am I blind??

KTC, The Original
When I was younger, probably starting in elementary school and continuing on through college, I always did this weird thing where I would wonder if someone, somewhere, whether it be across town or across the world, was doing the same thing as I was at that particular moment. Back then, I'd be sitting in biology class and hating it or something, so the answer was probably yes... yes there is someone else hating biology at this very moment.
More recently I've started to realize that there probably isn't anyone out there who is exactly like me. No one shares my daily events and has the same thoughts and feelings as I do. At first, this realization was a little disheartining as I think when I was wondering about it earlier in life I was thinking it would be comforting if someone was like me. But I think I'm proud of it. It's pretty sweet to be an original. And screw anyone who doesn't appreciate it. So there.

New Years Eve
NYE is my second favorite holiday only to Halloween, and I had a great one this year. Unfortunately I don't have the time to give you all the sweet details, but I did go to Chicago, do some awesome shopping on Belmont (my fave), and catch up with some old friends... two of the most noteable being these gorgeous ones, Reda and Brooke. They look so hot in this pic, so I definately had to share it.

My Kiefer
I've always loved Kiefer Sutherland (never seen Truth or Consequences, New Mexico? Rent it). If this is a real picture of him passed out in a hotel lobby, it's absolutely hilarious.
Whoa. Just realized that whatever shady tabloid this is totally misspelled my babe's name, and consequently made me do the same... nice journalism.

Why We're Friends
Sometimes friendships get monotonous. Not bad, like you hate a person... but more like, I hang out with this person cause that's what I do. No biggie.
Friendships are comfortable. That's fine. But then, every once in awhile, you spend some time with a friend that is insignificant yet amazing that reminds you of why you became so close in the first place. At least that happens to me sometimes, and I love it.
Bottom line, I love my friends. They are an amazing bunch that I wouldn't trade for the world. *tear*

Chicago is sooo....
I need a good adjective here cause Amazing doesn't seem to be cutting it for me. I have adored the windy city since I was really young, when I felt so comfortable roaming the streets and navagating the el train that my mother would absolutely freak out.
I still love it. I had a great time there for New Years Eve, although that probably has less to do with the city and more to do with my outstanding friends who made the trip perfect for me. More on that later, once I get pics to sufficiently show what a lovely time it was. For now... just enjoy that beautiful skyline. Oh Chicago, how I love thee.
